Stésia Costa
Partner Lawyer, with extensive experience in the areas of Corporate Law and Employment Law, gained over several years providing consultancy and advice to the public and private business sector. In recent years, she has worked with Oil and Gas Law and Mining Law, where she is the coordinator of these areas in the firm.
She also has experience in the field of Administrative and Employment Litigation, as a result of her experience as the coordinator of Litigation for a large Business Group, and stands out for her leadership skills, professionalism and easy adaptation to new contexts.
Silvino de Castro
Partner Lawyer, with extensive experience in both law and university teaching, working specifically in the areas of Public Procurement, Medical Law, Financial and Regulatory Law, among others. In recent years, he has worked on matters related to data protection, compliance and arbitration, and is the coordinator of the aforementioned areas in the firm.
His career is marked by participation in various academic, scientific and legal activities, standing out for his leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of his areas of expertise.

2016
The Foundation
The firm was founded in 2016, under the leadership of lawyer Stésia Costa, whose name gave rise to the law firm known as Stésia Costa – Sociedade de Advogados. With extensive experience working in large companies in the Angolan market and aware of the sustained foreign investment in the country, she combined boldness with experience and assembled a team specialized in Corporate and Business Law. Initially, the firm focused its activities on this area of law, working mainly for companies, meeting their demands in a variety of areas. The team was fluent in the languages most used by foreign clients who came to settle in Angola, which were English, French and Spanish.
2019
The Transformation
In 2019, the firm underwent its first and greatest transformation, with the arrival of partner Silvino de Castro, giving rise to the firm now known as Costa & Castro Sociedade de Advogados, RL. With the arrival of the new partner, the firm expanded its area of activity, no longer working solely with companies, but now serving a wide range of clients. To this end, the firm expanded its team, with a vast team of excellent lawyers and consultants with recognised legal expertise, who work dynamically in a wide range of areas of law. While maintaining its headquarters in Talatona, the firm also maintained its independence, focusing on the quality of the services it provides, seeking to act preventively, through effective and in-person monitoring of our clients, satisfying their needs. That is why we are proud of the loyalty of our clients. At Costa & Castro Sociedade de Advogados, RL we love what we do, and that is why we only practice law.

The Internationalization
As their reputation grew, so did their team. They carefully selected talented attorneys and staff who shared their vision and values. Together, they worked tirelessly to provide expert legal representation in a variety of practice areas, from corporate law to family law, criminal defense to immigration.

In addition to seeking solutions to disputes, we offer clients the full range of legal measures available, offering legal support for filing lawsuits or defenses necessary to protect the client's interests. Our firm currently has a team prepared to serve both national and foreign clients who come to settle in Angola, communicating in Portuguese, English, Mandarin, French and Spanish.
